WLIB1 425.00   Color litho with views of "Croowoman", Bassawoman", "Veygirl", King Vey John" and "Oilpalmtree". Postally used from Grand Bassa, Liberia 21-Aug-1898, routed through London. with red cancel 11-Sep-1898 with final destination Austria 13-9-1898. Franked with 1c + 2c Republic Liberia. Very impressive picture postcard and the earliest color postcard of Liberia we have ever come across. WLIB3 900.00  
               
Monrovia and the river. Postally used from Monrovia 2-3-1932, to Scheden. The sender appears to be a military personnel with inscription. on the back "CA. 8172\41b", with franking of two 2 cents Liberia postage overprint "Official Service". Interesting also is the postcard was printed in 1905 indicate with the Copyright, and used in 1932.
