"Panorama de Iquitos". Postally used from Iquitos 24-Dic-1904 with bisected 1c to Tacna which back then was part of Chile, now Peru. The sender of the card appears to be both the Captain of the Port of Iquitos (a naval post) and the Military Commander of the Navy in Loreto (Province of Iquitos).  The blue oval cancel is the naval cachet "Comandancia Principal Milicias Navales". The circle cahet "Capitania del Puerto Iquitos" has the logo of the city of Iquitos in the center. It is very difficult to find postally used picture postcards of the Amazon area before 1910.

Iquitos, city, northeastern Peru, capital of Loreto Department. It is a port on the Amazon River, approximately 100 km (about 60 mi) from the point at which the Marañón River unites with the Ucayali River to form the mainstream of the Amazon. Iquitos is one of the farthest inland ports of major size in the world. Oceangoing vessels visit regularly. Many travelers begin their Amazon experience in Iquitos, Peru. The only way to get to Iquitos is by boat or by air, there are no roads.
